ok, so since i hv no life, i shall blog about the movies i watch recently.
not even sure if anyone drops by here anymore.. =x
Twilight: breaking dawn
Well, i was "forced" to watch this movie, as it was an event by a client.. was quite reluctant actually as the first few twilight movies didnt catch my eyes. I successfully managed to stay away from ALL! *despite the fact that alot of my gfs are swooning over Edward blah blah blah*
So with only the knowledge of it being a vampire movie, and familiar names of Eward, Bella and Jacob, i ventured into Twilight: Breaking Dawn. And also credits to my colleague's attempt to give me crash course about the previous Twilight movies, in case someone actually brings up the topic during the networking session.. =x
Overall, i felt it was actually quite good. maybe cos i was actually prepared to slp silently thru the movie, but i was wide awake, and i managed to finish the movie and it didnt felt like it was 2hrs long! the only part i closed my eyes, was when they were trying to get the baby out of Bella, all the blood and surgical stuffs is nt my cup of tea...
Some parts of the story was quite disturbing, like... how can Jacob fall in love with a baby (as in getting married kind of love) just by looking into her eyes...
Since i caught part 1, i guess i wld wanna catch the 2nd part when its release. so..till then.... i had my dose of vampire for the rest of the yr!
Already Famous
This was a movie i was excited to catch when i saw the trailer! However, what i can say after watching it was that the trailer was really well done..
Maybe its because i went in with high expectations, and the movie was just okay. All the funny parts are already showcased in the trailer. I guess the pulling factor of this movie is the presence of the taiwan host aka the male lead.
BUT lets give first-time director Michelle Chong some credits...at least it was a full-house in my cinema hall, and i am sure it is the same for many other screening slots of the movie! I had to settle for the 3rd row!
Next, i am looking forward to puss in boots! =) meowwwwwwww
